Memory is the ability to remember things, something that you member or the part of your mind or computer that holds information.
In another word the ability of an organism to record information about things or wants events with the facility of recalling them later at will. A record of a thing or an event stored and available for later use by the organism. Memory is the process in which information is encoded, stored, and retrieval. Encoding or registration allows information from the outside world to be sensed in the form of chemical and physical stimuli. Storage is the creation of a permanent record of the encoded information in the short-term or long terms memory. Retrieval, recall, or recollection: calling back the stored information in the respondent some cue for use in a process or activity.
In the first stage, the information must be changed so that it may be put into the encoding process. Storage is the second memory stage or process. Short-term memory is also known as working memory. On the other hand, we can remember telephone numbers for many years through repetition, this information is said to be stored in long-term memory.
